I have been a NICA coach for the last 4 years. I am an avid cyclist, that loves riding all disciplines of cycling. I enjoy teaching the sport and sharing my knowledge with our local youth cyclist! This joy of sharing my passion for cycling with our youth is my way of giving back and helping build a stronger community for future generations to come.

I started riding my bike again 4 years ago. I love that my bike helps me to stay healthy physically and mentally. I have met a lot of great people through riding my bike. I love coaching and seeing the kids grow in their self-confidence and skills throughout the season and from year to year. I hope to ride and complete the Katy Trail in the near future.

I have been involved with the Coyote Composite & NICA family for 4 years! My oldest son, Caden, was a Coyote athlete and now is also a coach. Archer, my youngest son is also a member of the team. I am in just my 2nd year Coaching, but love to get to spend time with the awesome riders! The Coyote family is the best!

Kansas City, MO native, I have served as first an officer and now detective for the Emporia Police Department. I became a coach because I wanted to see mountain biking grow in our state! I find immense joy in watching our student athletes grow through the season.

I started coaching because my daughter is on the team and I really respect the core values and principles of NICA and Team Coyote. As a former teacher, coaching gives me an outlet for connecting with and teaching youth, and also gets me out and more active on my own bike. I’m very proud to be a part of this great organization!
